Round 2- Henshaw

 photo HenshawRound2.jpg

 photo HenshawRound2-2.jpg
The day didn't start well for Michael after he burnt the families breakfast. What had happened to his culinary talents? He had a pretty good idea...

 photo HenshawRound2-3.jpg
Elise Lawson. Despite the huge age gap, he couldn't get her out of his head.

 photo HenshawRound2-4.jpg
Christopher could have cared less, he was too busy with his career and hobby.

 photo HenshawRound2-5.jpg

 photo HenshawRound2-6.jpg

 photo HenshawRound2-7.jpg
Marie was doing well with her career and was rapidly approaching her goal of becoming general. Michael tried to have a chat to his daughter about her responsibilities as heir but Marie wasn't interested.

 photo HenshawRound2-8.jpg

 photo HenshawRound2-9.jpg
If only to get her father off her case, Marie met up with a number of bachelors, none caught her eye...

 photo HenshawRound2-10.jpg
Marie wasn't too concerned about finding a husband. She didn't need one. She had come across an ad in the newspaper about a 'medical trial'. There was no guarantee that it would work but Marie decided it was worth a try and headed off for her appointment at the clinic.

 photo HenshawRound2-11.jpg
Not long after her appointment, Marie woke and felt nauseous. Surely the 'trial' hadn't worked?

 photo HenshawRound2-12.jpg
The 'trial' had been a success and soon Marie was forced to take maternity leave. She wasn't too happy about her situation. Michael, however, was over the moon.

 photo HenshawRound2-13.jpg
Fed up with being stuck home all day, Marie bought a train set to pass the day.

 photo HenshawRound2-14.jpg
Michael was living his own life. He had quickly made friends with his co-worker, Elise and their friendship had blossomed into something more.

 photo HenshawRound2-15.jpg

 photo HenshawRound2-16.jpg
One thing led to another... Elise moved in shortly after.

Notes: This round started out majorly boring to the point when I didn't bother playing for a few days. I attempted to pair Marie off with Jonny (with no intention of things ever getting serious for them, I just needed an heir from Marie!) but he hated her. I tried again with Max. But he hated her too. Not that Marie cared... I decided to just use insim to impregnate her. I will however keep the father's identity a secret for now! I hadn't bargained on Michael and Elise getting together. They got frisky after I figured out that they could have an heir instead of Marie...

Round 2- Saenz

 photo SaenzRound2.jpg

 photo SaenzRound2-2.jpg
Georgina had desperately wanted a train set but the family couldn't afford one. Elsa bought her a remote controlled car instead. Georgina decided this was just as good and spent every moment of her spare time racing it around the house.

 photo SaenzRound2-3.jpg
Elsa had always been more family oriented rather than focusing on her career. She wished she had more time to spend with Declan and Georgina but most of her free time was taken up with working on her next promotion. The higher she got in her career, the more money she made.

 photo SaenzRound2-4.jpg

 photo SaenzRound2-5.jpg
Elsa made sure not to ignore her children completely though.

 photo SaenzRound2-6.jpg
It helped a lot that they were both old enough to entertain themselves for a while. Elsa wasn't sure what to make of Gary Mason calling Georgina out of the blue though. Gary was the same age as Declan, 4 years older than Georgina...

 photo SaenzRound2-7.jpg
Joanne Walker was a much better friend for her daughter in Elsa's opinion. True, she was also 4 years older than Georgina but atleast she was a girl...

 photo SaenzRound2-8.jpg
Declan soon turned 13 and a weight was lifted from Elsa's shoulders. Declan would be able to keep an eye on Georgina... and her friends...

Notes: Absolutely nothing entertaining happened. At all. The most exciting thing that happened here was a teenage Gary phoning a 7-year-old Georgina... Declan rolled fortune. It would have worked out better if he had rolled family with the whole 'keeping an eye on his sister' but at least its not romance!

Round 2- Mason

 photo MasonRound2.jpg

 photo MasonRound2-2.jpg
Jonny was woken in the early hours of the morning by a burglar. Doing the fatherly thing and protecting his children he hid in the bathroom until the police arrived...

 photo MasonRound2-3.jpg
The police were quick to arrive and arrest the burglar and the family received a small amount of cash to compensate for their loss of goods.

 photo MasonRound2-4.jpg
Sadly, it wasn't enough to replace Louisa's ballet bar.

 photo MasonRound2-5.jpg
Jonny decided the best thing to do was to try and put the incident behind them. Gary was quick to accept the challenge and went back to taunting his little sister and calling her a baby...

 photo MasonRound2-6.jpg
Thanks to the late night disturbance, Jonny ended up sleeping in and missing the carpool. A walk to work it was...

 photo MasonRound2-7.jpg
Louisa tried to forget her missing ballet bar and focused her attention on the dogs.

 photo MasonRound2-8.jpg
Allie quite often stayed up late to look at the stars and watch fireflies. On this occasion she decided they would look nice in the house. They did not survive the jar for long...

 photo MasonRound2-9.jpg
Jonny worked hard and instead of putting every penny he earnt into the house, he bought Louisa a new ballet bar. To say she was delighted was an understatement!

 photo MasonRound2-10.jpg

 photo MasonRound2-12.jpg
The girls had easily made friends with other kids their age in the neighbourhood and could often be found hanging out with their new friends. Gary didn't seem interested. Jonny didn't know what to do. Maybe things would change when Gary was a teenager?

 photo MasonRound2-11.jpg
With lack of money, it was up to Jonny to fix anything that went wrong. He knew it wasn't a good idea to hit the taps with a wrench but strangely it seemed to stop the water from spouting out...

 photo MasonRound2-13.jpg
Gary celebrated his 13th birthday. He decided that since he was the heir of the family, he might as well start looking for a partner now.

Notes: Of all the things to take, the burglar took the ballet bar. I thought if the police arrived in time then the family would get whatever was stolen back but nope, they got something like $200. Rubbish because I think the ballet bar is $500. Gary seems to be a bit of a loner at the moment. I think now he's a teen, he seems to have a thing for Georgina Saenz. Too bad she's too young for him at the moment. Gary rolled romance. Brilliant... just the aspiration I want for an heir...

Round 1- Walker

 photo WalkerRound1.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-2.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-3.jpg
Max Walker moved to Autumn Shore with his two young daughters, Joanne and Tina, to follow his dream of starting his own farm.

 photo WalkerRound1-4.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-5.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-6.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-7.jpg
Max had known that the farm wouldn't be suddenly booming overnight but he hadn't expected things to be this slow. The family needed money, and fast.

 photo WalkerRound1-8.jpg
Max ended up taking a job writing articles for the local newspaper. It wasn't much, but it atleast put food on the table.

 photo WalkerRound1-9.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-10.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-12.jpg
The farm was slowly coming together. Max was delighted and couldn't wait until the day when the farmhouse was complete and the family could live solely on the profits coming from their farm.

 photo WalkerRound1-11.jpg

 photo WalkerRound1-13.jpg
Max had to hire a nanny to look after Tina while he was at his store. It was a sacrifice he had to made and he hoped that when Tina was older she would understand why he wasn't around much for her toddler years.

 photo WalkerRound1-14.jpg
When Joanne wasn't helping her dad with the farm, she was making friends. Louisa Mason was a few years younger than Joanne but they quickly became friends.

 photo WalkerRound1-15.jpg
Tina soon celebrated her 5th birthday. Max loved his daughter and was sad to see her growing up so fast. He was however happy to have another pair of hands to help around the farm!

Notes: Okay, so I cheated with the Walker family. A lot. I wanted to get the farm up and running asap so motives were maxed a number of times. With Tina now a child, round 2 should be easier.

Round 1- Brockman

 photo BrockmanRound1.jpg

 photo BrockmanRound1-2.jpg

 photo BrockmanRound1-3.jpg

 photo BrockmanRound1-4.jpg
Donna Brockman moves herself and her two children, Ramona and Sean to Autumn Shore.

 photo BrockmanRound1-5.jpg
The first thing Donna had to do was look for a job. It meant leaving Sean in the care of a nanny but the family needed an income somehow. All the houses in Autumn Shore were newly built but they had been so cheap due to being 'incomplete'. It was up to the new home owners to complete the decorating.

 photo BrockmanRound1-6.jpg

 photo BrockmanRound1-7.jpg

 photo BrockmanRound1-8.jpg
Luckily, Donna didn't start her new job for a few days so she was able to spend as much time with Ramona and Sean as possible.

 photo BrockmanRound1-9.jpg
Donna started work as a dish washer. It didn't pay much but it was atleast something towards the bills.

 photo BrockmanRound1-10.jpg
Ramona had settled in to Autumn Shore High School and brought home an A+ report card. Donna couldn't have been more proud of her daughter.

 photo BrockmanRound1-11.jpg
It wasn't long before Sean was old enough to attend school. He was starting Kindergarten at Autumn Shore Primary the following morning.

Notes: Nothing much happened this round. I'm behind with blog posts, i'm about to play round 2 for this family which will hopefully be a lot more exciting! I've also just realised that i'm yet to send any of my sims to Autumn Shore Playground after it being the only lot (with the exception of the founding houses) that I build myself!
